Joe Schwaderer: Finance

What did you dream of being when you were growing up?
When I was growing up I dreamed of becoming a professional football player.
What is one of your greatest achievements?
One of my greatest career achievements occurred when I assumed the position of interim President of a technology business shortly after being hired as its CFO. I was able to lea the company on a turnaround journey from loss making to double-digit profit margins through restructuring headcount, redesigning processes and systems, and creating a framework for excellence in operations across all functions.
What do you feel is the biggest strength of our company right now?
I believe one of the biggest strengths of ISS is that it has a strong worldwide footprint and reputation for quality coupled with a unique vision around standardization or process and adoption of new technology, which has great potential for long-term revenue growth and increasing profit margins.
What is the most important thing we should know about you as a leader?
An important insight of me as a leader is that I've always worked best within a team that is transparent and authentic and that's how I manage and interact.
