James Flynn is Chief Executive Officer of Hunt Real Estate Capital and ORIX Real Estate Capital, which includes the RED Capital Group and Lancaster Pollard brands. Mr. Flynn is responsible for the management and strategic direction of Hunt Real Estate Capital’s commercial real estate debt and lending businesses. Under his leadership, Hunt real Estate Capital‘s servicing portfolio has grown by more than $3 billion, and the business’s annual originations have increased by 80%. Prior to joining Hunt in 2007, Mr. Flynn practiced law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (GDC) in its real estate practice group. Before joining GDC, Mr. Flynn was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Flynn is also CEO of Hunt Companies Finance Trust, a publicly traded REIT (NYSE: HCFT). Mr. Flynn holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia University.
